You pivot Sonic around on that dreamcast controller and the response is just absolutely instantaneous and smooth. There are some great Dreamcast emulators but even run on a full x86 with an adaptive sync gaming monitor, the input lag is pretty high side-by-side with a real system. aren't really feasible in FPGA but I'm not convinced that software emulation is somehow less limited than it is for old systems. ![]()
